MWG & Associates was founded in 2004 by retired farmer and landowner, Michael Grismer. Mike’s passion for land and real estate is in his blood. As a farmer, developer, and contractor, Mike has been buying and selling farms, apartment buildings, and country estates for over 30 years. After nearly 40 years of farming in McHenry County, he decided it was time to retire. Though he is no longer farming, Mike's passion for land, development, and real estate remain strong. MWG & Associates was born out of Mike’s love of the land. Mike and his team truly enjoy every opportunity to work with land owners, farmers, farm managers, and other professionals who still value a person’s word on a handshake. He lives and breathes his work and is extremely adept at negotiating reasonable and fair property transactions. Our specialty lies in being your local real estate consultants. In addition to his work with MWG & Associates, Mike serves as a sales associate for RE/MAX Connections II in Marengo, Illinois.
